Christ United Fellowship had its beginning on September 22, 2012, when a small group of committed Christians decided to form an independent church. They were believers in the Word and hoped to be a beacon of God’s light and truth to the community.
The first worship services were held at the home of Tom and Muriel Banks, but quickly moved to the ballroom of the local Clarion Hotel. For two years, the congregation met at the hotel on Sunday mornings for worship and fellowship, while meeting in the home of Karen Lucas on Wednesdays for Bible study. Two years later, God answered prayers, and the congregation had a permanent church home!
We first worshiped together on Voorhis Avenue on October 12, 2014.
